We like the idea that wine is partly the product of chance. There’s always a side of it that we can’t control, and which gives it beauty and fascination.
Our particular expertise lies in making wine without taking away its mystery. We let it tell its own story, give nature a helping hand, resist the temptation of technology that makes life too easy. And we make wine in our own image, with a subtle balance borne partly of the soil in which it’s cultivated.
NATURAL
We stopped using pesticides and herbicides many years ago. We’re proud of this, and we want people to know about it, so we’re in the process of obtaining organic conversion certification.
We create a fragile but effective harmony between the vine and its surroundings, allowing beneficial insects and microorganisms to get on with the job, because they do it much better than us. Our vineyards teem with precious life.

THEY INSPIRE US
In March, hoopoes nest in bushes and hedges on our estate. These beautiful and graceful birds of passage require an extremely biodiverse environment, so our vineyards make the perfect home. They return each year after overwintering on the other side of the Mediterranean, their arrival a reminder of the life quietly humming amid the vines.
The hoopoe symbolizes our commitment to viticulture that works in harmony with nature.
